For distributor and manufacturer order desks that retype purchase orders and requests for quotes from email, PDFs and scans into the ERP. SwiftOrder reads each one, checks it in code, matches the lines to your own item numbers and hands back a file your ERP imports.

Each document is transcribed exactly as printed, then checked in code. Each line is matched to your item number — by your cross-reference, a part number printed on the line, or the description — and a suggestion is always marked for you to confirm.
Lines that are certain are marked ready; anything else says why. An order comes back as an order file, a request for a quote as a quote file, and both go into your ERP through its own import.
A silent error is a wrong line marked ready — the one that ships 1,000 valves instead of 10. A flagged line costs someone a glance; a silent one costs a re-ship, a credit, and sometimes the customer. It is the one number the reader is built and measured against, in two layers:
How it is measured. Every change to the reader is run against a set of orders and requests for quotes with known answers — twice, because a model can read a document right once and wrong the next time — and the silent errors are counted. Those documents are invented, so the count is not a promise about yours. We publish no accuracy figure until one is measured on real orders; the first test on your own documents is the measurement that counts, and you see every line of it.

The person stays; the typing goes. Most order-desk hires do more than type: of 486 US and UK employers hiring order-desk staff in the month to 13 September 2026, 56% were hiring customer-service or sales-support roles with order entry as one of the duties.
One CSV per document, one row per line. Each row repeats the document's own fields — its number, dates, customer, ship-to — then the customer's part number, the description, quantity, unit, price, your item number, and whether the line is ready or needs a look, and why.
There is no direct connection to any ERP yet: you import the file the way you import any other.
The self-serve version: forward your orders and requests for quotes, get checked files back. One email when it opens. Nothing else.
